September 10th, 2026, what the hell of a day this has been, but my rant about FedEx and their madness is for later. Right now I wanna do a quick article since people will likely be noticing Steam Achievements showing up on the achievement sidebar soon.
For those of you who aren't aware, Postal 2 is one of the most unhinged, crazy but fun games ever created. It's been my proverbial "Can it run Crysis" for years, due to the fact that this game is one of the earliest First Person Shooters with native Linux support.
Within a single mission it crashed with glorious results, and of course it happened while I was watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 episode "Overdrawn at the Memory Bank," but honestly glad I got it working while I wait for other games to install for testing and article usage.
Also, while waiting on a screen protector, I've babied this thing, but the most notable personalization I've done is replace the default boot animation with the iconic Series 2 Episode 2: "Church entrance" from The IT Crowd where Douglas Reynholm [played by Matt Berry] crashes his father's funeral in a white suit screaming "FATHER" after swinging the church doors open.
Look forward to a lot more content, including more rambling about gold farming, TF2 Item trading, Linux gaming, and just random things.
