Eat What You Want

"If you are a fat bastard, be PROUD that you are a fat bastard! There’s no sense in trying to be something that you aren’t!" - Foamy the Sequel: The Jiggly Butt

With the rise of things like Ozempic (semaglutide) and other weight loss drugs, I find myself thinking about how the obsession with losing weight makes no sense. Why does everyone want to be so damn skinny?

Recently, I read an article from Gizmodo titled "Ozempic Is Killing Off Weight Loss Surgeries. That's a Problem," and honestly, I have mixed feelings about the fact that weight loss surgery is being replaced by drugs like Ozempic.

If I had it my way, Ozempic would be outlawed and kept out of regulated society entirely. I think people should just be happy being fat. As my opening quote says: "There's no sense in trying to be something that you aren't!"

I mean, why be skinny and miserable when you can be pudgy and happy?

I mean, with the rise of food delivery, plus-size content creators, and increasingly advanced medical science (including artificial organs), maybe we should just say fuck it and stop being so superficial.

I'd personally prefer being fat or plump over being skinny any day of the week.
Look at other cultures: for so long, the idea of being fat was considered a good thing. It was a sign of beauty, of abundance.

We have more and more online groups promoting body positivity and the idea of just being plump and happy. You also have to account for the fact that more and more of the world is getting heavier. As much as I dislike the WHO (World Health Organization), their records show 8 countries with obesity rates over 50%, with America coming in at number 10 at 41.64%.

So rather than whining and worrying, just have another slice of cake, those cheese fries, that extra burger, and stop worrying about what everyone else thinks.

Just be happy with your bodies rather than trying to be someone you are not.
